Peace Church: Living with Shalom

The second annual gathering of the Anabaptist networks of organisations and communities took place in Birmingham on Saturday 12 November 2012 with about 75 adults and children present. Superbly planned and hosted by Peacechurch and friends, this was a vibrant, multi-voiced event that involved many different people and activities – including a table talk, pilgrimages around the local area, bread making, arts and crafts, discussions, poetry, sculpture, interacting with film, communal Bible study, etc.

Reading the Bible after Christendom

The sixth book in the 'After Christendom' series, Reading the Bible after Christendom by Lloyd Pietersen, was published on 8 April 2011.

We have been looking forward to this book being available. It explores the impact of the Christendom era on biblical interpretation and suggests ways in which we can read the Bible afresh in post-Christendom - a really important addition to this series.

It is on sale for £10.99 and can be ordered from the Anabaptist Network.

The Naked Anabaptist - with illustrations

The UK version of Stuart Murray's The Naked Anabaptist has now been published by Paternoster.

The North American version (published by Herald Press) has been out for more than a year now. It has sold well and has already been reprinted.

The text of the UK version is almost identical, but it is illustrated with various pictures - none, though, of naked Anabaptists!

The book is available for £9.00 from admin@anabaptistnetwork.com
